The TF2 was once developed for personal use, but quickly turned out to be a long-awaited aid in the flying community. With this handy device, which initially was called ” Schleppmaxxe”, aircraft with a take-off weight of up to 4.000kg / 8.800lbs can be coupled within a few seconds.
Thanks to the 500W motor the further handling of the aircraft is a breeze. By shifting weight, TF2 is very easy to control and so the flying experience begins even before the plane is on the runway.

Questions that follow us every day are whether an ergonomic tiller head control is “necessary” and what the differences to the basic version are. Basically it can be said that the TowFLEXX TF1 as well as the TowFLEXX TF2 also work wonderfully with the basic version, but the tiller head control significantly increases driving comfort and also offers some advanced functions. Thus, the decision is a very personal one and must answer the question of whether price or maximum comfort has priority. You can find the differences between the two versions here:
In the standard configuration the TF1 comes with the basic handle. Both sides are padded with foam for a firm, comfortable grip. In addition, an adjustment wheel is attached to the handle, with which the speed can be set smoothly. Additionally there is a button to move the unit forwards and backwards, which is preferably operated with the index finger.
For the TF1 as well as for the TF2, it is possible to replace the basic handle with an ergonomic tiller head control. Its design enables a more comfortable and ergonomic fit in the hand. In contrast to the basic version, the unit is operated with the thumb via two paddle switches, which allow stepless speed adjustment (this principle is familiar to most pallet lifts). The tiller head control also has an emergency stop switch on the front side, which immediately stops the unit in a dangerous situation, and a built-in horn.
