Not everyone who needs a tractor moves an aircraft – sometimes heavy loads have to be transported from A to B where conventional vehicles fail. This is exactly where the innovative special vehicles from TowFLEXX come into play. With tailor-made solutions that are geared to the individual needs of our customers, we have developed a large number of vehicles and towing aids in recent years.
From the precise movement of a food truck in the city center, to a remote-controlled parking aid for boats on trailers, to a powerful cargo tractor for rocket components or an environmentally friendly electric snow shovel – our special vehicles are as versatile as the challenges of our customers.
Many of these special solutions combine the proven TowFLEXX technology with new features while retaining their original purpose of towing aircraft. This dual functionality makes our vehicles not only practical, but also unique – so nothing stands in the way of a pilot’s license!
Equipment tug TF2.3
The TF2.3 tow tug is based on the proven TF2 aircraft tug and impresses with its versatility and performance. With a pulling force of up to 4 tons (8,800 pounds), it is ideal for use in demanding situations. Instead of the standard nose wheel mount, the TF2.3 has a ball-head tow bar that enables precise manoeuvring of trailers, caravans or food trucks . Whether it’s tight parking spaces, busy event grounds or workshops – the TF2.3 is the perfect solution wherever conventional vehicles reach their limits or are deliberately avoided.
